Bitkey is a bitcoin-only 2-of-3 multisig wallet combining a hardware device, a mobile app key and a server key, so there is no seed phrase to write down. The design includes built-in inheritance and recovery flows while the owner keeps control of spending.
Krux
Krux is open-source firmware that turns off-the-shelf Kendryte K210 devices into airgapped bitcoin transaction signers, commonly used as one of the signers in a multisig setup. It also provides tooling for creating, encrypting and recovering mnemonic backups.
BitBox02 (BitBox / Shift Crypto)
A Swiss-made USB-C hardware wallet whose firmware is developed in the open on GitHub. It is sold in a Bitcoin-only edition and a multi-asset edition, and uses a dual-chip design with a secure element plus a microSD backup card.
Blockstream Jade
Blockstream's open-source Bitcoin and Liquid hardware wallet. It supports fully air-gapped operation by scanning and displaying QR codes with its camera and screen, and can also connect over USB or Bluetooth.
COLDCARD Mk5
Coinkite's compact Bitcoin-only signing device, the successor to the Mk4, with a numeric keypad, a 1.54-inch Gorilla Glass screen, NFC and MicroSD-based air-gapped workflows. Firmware is published openly and the device supports PSBT and multisig.
COLDCARD Q
The full-featured COLDCARD, with a QWERTY keyboard, a large screen, a built-in QR scanner, dual SD card slots and AAA battery operation so it can run entirely off-line. Bitcoin-only, with the same security features as the Mk5.
Foundation Passport Prime
Foundation Devices' second-generation air-gapped signer, made in the USA. Beyond Bitcoin signing it adds a password manager, a Nostr event signer and a security-focused app environment, and pairs with Foundation's Envoy mobile app.
SeedSigner
A free, open-source DIY project that turns an air-gapped Raspberry Pi Zero plus a camera and small screen into a stateless Bitcoin signing device. All communication with the host wallet happens through QR codes, and no seed is stored on the hardware between uses.
Keystone 3 Pro
An air-gapped hardware wallet that uses three separate secure element chips and signs entirely over QR codes, with no USB or Bluetooth data path required. Firmware is published as open source.
OneKey Pro
OneKey's flagship air-gap capable cold wallet with a fingerprint sensor, camera for QR signing and open-source firmware. It supports Bitcoin alongside a wide range of other chains.

CKBunker
CKBunker is Coinkite's open-source software for running a Coldcard in HSM mode so transactions can be authorised over Tor according to a preset policy. It is aimed at teams and businesses that need policy-controlled signing while retaining their own keys.
Coinkite SATSCARD
A Coinkite NFC card that holds up to ten separate bitcoin slots. Each slot can be unsealed by peeling a tab on the back to reveal the private key, so a loaded card can be physically handed to another person.
Coinkite TAPSIGNER
A credit-card-shaped NFC signing device from Coinkite. The private key is generated inside the card's secure element and never leaves it; you tap the card against a phone to approve a Bitcoin transaction.
CoolWallet Pro
A flexible, card-shaped hardware wallet that fits in a physical wallet and pairs with a phone over encrypted Bluetooth. Keys stay in a certified secure element and transactions are confirmed on the card's small e-paper display.
Cypherock X1
A hardware wallet that replaces a single seed phrase with a tamper-proof device plus four NFC cards, splitting the key so no single item can be lost or stolen to compromise the wallet. Cypherock also builds non-custodial inheritance features on top of this design.
DCENT Biometric Wallet

KeepKey
An open-source hardware wallet that has been shipping since 2014 and is now run by KeepKey LLC, with built-in THORChain swap support through its desktop app and browser extension. Firmware is auditable and updates are free.

The upgraded Keystone metal backup with double-sided storage and individual slots for each letter tile, so tiles stay in place even if the housing deforms under heat. Made entirely of 304-grade stainless steel and shipped with spare screws, tamper stickers and a screwdriver.
Ledger Nano S Plus
Ledger's entry-level USB signing device, which keeps private keys in a certified secure element and confirms transactions on a small on-device screen. Ledger lists support for more than 15,000 coins and tokens through its companion wallet app.
Ledger Nano X
A pocket-sized Ledger signing device that adds Bluetooth so it can pair with a phone as well as a computer. Keys stay inside the device's secure element and every transaction is confirmed on its own screen.
NGRAVE GRAPHENE
A two-plate 316 stainless steel backup where you punch characters through a perforated upper plate into the lower one, so neither plate alone reveals the phrase. NGRAVE states it resists fire to 1375°C plus water, corrosion and shocks, and can reissue a lost upper plate via a recovery code.
NGRAVE ZERO
A high-security air-gapped hardware wallet with a touchscreen, biometric sensor and no wireless or wired data connection; transactions are passed by QR code. It is sold alongside NGRAVE's GRAPHENE metal backup and LIQUID mobile app.
OneKey KeyTag
A pair of aerospace-grade TC4 titanium alloy tags on which you punch BIP39 word numbers rather than letters. Each pack stores 24 recovery words plus two extra passphrase slots and includes an automatic center punch and guide. OneKey rates the alloy to a 1668°C melting point.
Opendime
A Coinkite USB stick that acts as a Bitcoin bearer instrument: it generates a private key that stays sealed inside until the device is physically broken open, letting the loaded stick be handed to someone else like cash.
Prokey Optimum
A compact offline hardware wallet from Prokey that keeps the private key on the device and signs transactions without exposing the seed. Prokey lists support for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether and thousands of other assets, and also sells a ColdSteel metal backup.
Ryder One
A hardware wallet designed around simplicity, sold directly by Ryder with an optional recovery tag, wireless charger and travel pouch. It is pitched at people who want self-custody without managing a written seed phrase.
SafePal S1
An air-gapped hardware wallet that has no Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or USB data connection and signs transactions via QR codes shown to the SafePal app. It includes a self-destruct mechanism triggered by physical tampering.
Satochip
An open-source smartcard hardware wallet: the private key lives on a Javacard secure element and is used by tapping the card over NFC or inserting it into a reader. Made by the Belgian Satochip project.
Satochip Seedkeeper
A smartcard-format backup device rather than a metal plate: an EAL6-certified secure element stores up to fifty secrets such as seed phrases and passwords behind a PIN. Companion desktop and mobile apps handle import and export on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android.
Satodime
A bearer crypto card from the Satochip team: the card holds sealed key slots that can be handed to another person, and the private key is only revealed when a slot is unsealed. Read the balance by tapping the card on a phone.
Specter DIY
An open-source do-it-yourself air-gapped hardware wallet built from a development board, which exchanges transaction data with the host computer over QR codes. The repository publishes the build instructions and firmware.
